Tooth Fairy Bags

These cute tooth fairy bags are the perfect size to pop your little ones tooth into, then the tooth fairy can leave some loot in it once she has taken the tooth! Approx 8cm x 9cm with ribbon drawstring that ties up in a bow.

I'm very excited that one of my creations was accepted to be on the Handmade Cooperative - Australian Handmade 4 Kids blog this week. There are some very talented peoples work there, you have to go and check it out!

I'm lonely.....

The kids have gone back to school this week, the house is very quiet and I'm lonely! So what do I do when I'm lonely?? I pump up the stereo and SEW!! I saved an order to do on the first day back of school and completed it that day. It was 2 prayer bags with the childrens names on the front. I fully lined them and put in a drawstring top. They are 20 x 25 cm. I'm really happy with how they turned out.

Easter was lovely the kids were up early and filled up their easter bags with lots of yummy eggs that the Easter bunny left, we had visitors for easter and the last week of the hols and even had a quick trip to Melb to watch the Collingwood / St Kilda game at Etihad Stadium on Fri night. We won 4 free tickets to the game and had a awesome time!

 

I love school holidays!

The kids are on two weeks school holidays at the moment and it has been so nice. Not much sewing has been done, except for finishing off my last three Easter bags for the kids and their cousin. We have been staying in our PJ's till midday everyday, lots of easter craft and fun playing with our new kitten. The weather has been gorgeous so we have been going down to the park at the foreshore for a play most afternoons. The kids can't wait for the Easter Bunny's arrival. I hope everyone has a fantastic easter break.
